So I use both with Onenote the main archive repository…. Personally I find Notability better for taking handwritten notes in meetings but all of your information is synchronised between devices where Onenote you can select which information you want to sync to your mobile device which is a fantastic feature as most mobile devices do not have unlimited memory.

Having said that it is the best program besides notability for mac OS and iPad and notability has similar lapses in memory at times when it comes to syncing. My only issue is that it get out of sync sometimes, not often but when it does it is a mess. Otherwise a great program for keeping all of your important electronic and scanned paper documents, recipes and pictures, hand scetches etc and synchronize with other handheld devices. There IS NO option to store your data locally.
